Applications are open for the Specialisation Seminar ‘Latin America Today’, a joint initiative of the Iscte Centre for International Studies (CEI-Iscte) and Casa da América Latina, which will take place between 8 and 12 September 2025 on the Iscte campus in Lisbon.
This seminar aims to provide an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of Latin America, addressing central themes such as politics, economics, society, culture and international relations in the region. It is aimed at students, researchers, teachers, professionals and anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of Latin America. As well as gaining experience, participants will have to consider writing an essay on a topic of their interest as their end-of-course assessment.
The course takes place in person.
Participation in the seminar costs €100, in addition to the registration fee of €25. Applications are open until 30 July 2025.
