As part of efforts to strengthen the national research system, promoting the renewal, modernisation, and digitisation of scientific infrastructure and equipment at R&D units (under Component 5 — Capitalisation and Business Innovation, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), under the investment“RE-C05-i13 – Scientific Research Units”, CEI-Iscte provides its research team with licenses for data analysis software.
These tools support scientific research activities by providing scientific instruments that promote good research practices and contribute to the modernisation of research processes, in line with the objectives of the PRR.
The licenses are intended exclusively for scientific use by members of the CEI-Iscte research team and are subject to availability.

Granting of Licenses to Members of the CEI-Iscte Research Team
To ask for a software license to be attributed to the respective Iscte user, researchers must submit a request via email to: cei@iscte-iul.pt
The request must include:
- • identification of the software;
- • an indication of the expected duration of the use;
- • a brief explanation of the use within the context of the research activities.
These licenses are funded by the project UID/PRR/3122/2025 and are part of CEI-Iscte’s aim of promoting excellence in its team’s research activities and in strengthening scientific digital infrastructure. This project is funded under the agreement between the Mission Structure to Recover Portugal (EMRP) and the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), which acts as an intermediary beneficiary.
