1 research position for a Research Grant (“Bolsa de Investigação “) is opened at Centro de Estudos Internacionais do Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (CEI-IUL), in the scope of “Europe for Citizens” e “Erasmus +” programs.

Admission Requirements:
- Master’s Degree on International Studies or similar;
- Proved research experience in International Studies, or similar areas;
- Proved experience on academic events coordination, with national and international researcher teams;
- Excellent verbal and written skills, Portuguese and English.
- Solid informatic knowledge as user and social networks and website management.
Workplan: Field research and project support, namely data collection, preparation of bibliographic inventories, organization of scientific events, preparation and dissemination of scientific results of the projects.
Applicable legislation: The Grant will be celebrated according to the regulations defined by FCT, Law no. 40/2004, dated August 18 (Status of Scientific Research Fellow) and Regulation for Research Fellowships of FCT (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/docs/RegulamentoBolsasFCT2019.pdf).
Place of work: The work will be developed at the premises of Centro de Estudos Internacionais do ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, under the supervision of CEI-IUL director, Luís Nuno Rodrigues.
Duration: 12 months with the possibility of renewal. Start date February 2020.
Financial terms: Payment will depend on academic and professional experience, according to the table of grants defined by FCT for positions held in Portugal (www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores). Voluntary Social Contribution and personal accidents insurance will be paid. The payment will be made by bank transfer.
Selection criteria
- Academic evaluation – 40%
- Suitability of the candidate’s profile to the project based on the relevant work experience in the tasks described in the work plan, namely event coordination– 40%
- Written skills & motivation letter evaluation – 10%
- Language skills (Portuguese & English) – 10%
In case of need the Jury will decide to summon the candidates for an interview up to the maximum of 5.
