As part of the launch of the PhD programme in International Studies, the session ‘Rethinking the European Union as an Enabling Power’ will take place on 8 October, with Mafalda Dâmaso from the European University Institute as the guest speaker.
The session will be moderated by Luís Nuno Rodrigues, director of the PhD programme and researcher at CEI-Iscte, and provides an opportunity to reflect on the role and potential of the European Union as an enabling power, exploring different perspectives on its capacity for action and influence in the international context.
The event is organised in partnership with the Master’s in International Studies and the Bachelor’s in International Studies, bringing together students, lecturers and researchers to discuss key issues in contemporary International Studies.
