CEI-Iscte is a partner of the European Forum on US History, a series of hybrid and rotating seminars bringing together eleven European institutions with the aim of promoting historiographical and interdisciplinary exchange, broadening the geographical scope of research and creating new opportunities for academic collaboration.
The next session of the European Forum will take place on 14 December, with an online seminar organised by Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal).
Aimée Plukker (Center for Presidential History, SMU) will present Destination Europe: Cold War Transatlantic Tourism and the Making of ‘the West’.
The session is open to researchers, lecturers, students and anyone with an interest in the history of the United States.
