
The African Studies Section of the Portuguese Political Science Association (APCP) announces its 2nd Graduate Conference, which will take place on 18 November 2025 at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, in a hybrid format (face-to-face and online).
The event aims to bring together master’s and doctoral students and early career researchers whose work focuses on the African continent, contributing to the production of knowledge in the areas of political science, comparative politics, political economy, political theory and international relations. Research proposals with multidisciplinary and multi-methodological approaches to African politics are also welcome.
Important dates:
- Period for submitting proposals: 1st July to 15th September 2025
- Communication of results: between 15 and 30 September 2025
- Conference date: 18 November 2025
