CEI-Iscte is a partner of the European Forum on US History, a series of hybrid and rotating seminars bringing together eleven European institutions with the aim of promoting historiographical and interdisciplinary exchange, broadening the geographical scope of research and creating new opportunities for academic collaboration.

Another session of the European Forum will take place on 24 May, with an online seminar organised by University of Oxford (UK).

Emilie Cunning (Emory University) will present Borders of Freedom: How Europe Became Contested Territory for Amnesty Politics during the US War in Vietnam.

The session is open to researchers, lecturers, students and anyone with an interest in the history of the United States.
