On 5 March, a seminar will be held as part of the MYNA project entitled The Geopolitics of Reincarnation: US-China conflict over the next Dalai Lama and Mongolia’s role.
The guest speaker is Lkhagvademchig Jadamba, Associate Professor at the National University of Mongolia and Visiting Researcher at CEI-Iscte. He specialises in cultural anthropology, with a particular focus on Tibetan-Mongolian Buddhism. His research interests include religious diplomacy, religion in post-socialist Mongolia and Buddhist art and literature. He is also an advisor to the National Security Council of Mongolia.
