The congress will take place on 27-28 April 2023 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Cabral’s physical disappearance and will be hosted by the Centre for African Studies at ISCSP – University of Lisbon (CEAF) and the Centre for African Studies at the University of Porto (CEAUP). Numerous Portuguese and foreign institutions are also collaborating, such as the Amílcar Cabral Centre for Social Studies, the Amílcar Cabral University, INEP (National Institute for Studies and Research), the University of Cape Verde, the Amílcar Cabral Foundation, among others.
