A conferência decorre no âmbito do projecto “A Nova Direita Radical Euro-Americana em Portugal: Uma Perspectiva Comparada” (PTDC/CPO-CPO/28748/2017) financiado pela Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, e que tem o ICS-ULisboa como parceiro. A iniciativa pretende reunir académicos especialistas do tema sobre a emergência de uma nova extrema direita.

The international conference “From America to Europe: Identity, Immigration, and White Blacklash” analyses the impact of mass immigration and multiculturalism on western societies at a political, socio-cultural, economic and ethnic levels. It assembles a group of top scholars and researchers who will address what has become the most divisive and salient issue of both American and European societies in the early 21st century.
