PhD Programmes
CEI-Iscte has extensive experience in welcoming and supporting PhD students, based on a strong link between teaching and research. PhD students benefit from the guidance of experienced researchers, who provide the academic supervision and support necessary for the development of rigorous, high-quality research.
The Centre’s support structures provide the necessary guidance throughout the PhD programme, both in terms of the administrative management of students’ studies and the development of their research activities. In this context, CEI also supports PhD students in preparing applications for grants from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), Iscte and other funding bodies.
CEI-Iscte also encourages the involvement of postgraduate students and recent PhD graduates in its research projects.
