On 25 March, from 4pm, as part of the ‘Middle East and North Africa’ seminar series, the documentary ‘Jenin, Jenin’ will be screened.
Directed by Palestinian actor and filmmaker Mohammad Bakri, ‘Jenin, Jenin’ is a 2002 documentary that denounces the crimes committed by the Israeli army during the attack on the Jenin refugee camp, through the immediate testimonies of the Palestinians who lived through the events.
The event aims to provide a critical reflection on the subject of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and stimulate debate on the humanitarian consequences in the region.
Participation is open to the public and will begin at 4pm in room B3.26 (Building 4, Iscte).
