CEI-Iscte, in partnership with Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Portugal, present the documentary “Iuventa”, which recounts the events of a crucial year in the lives of a group of young Europeans involved in different ways in the humanitarian project Jugend Rettet.
The film relates from the first voyage of the ship ȊUVENTA in the Mediterranean Sea to the heavy charges that led to the seizure of the ship more than a year later. The backbone of the narration is the ship’s first trip out to sea: setting sail from Malta, it returns to La Valletta after 15 days offshore, having saved the lives of over 2,000 people.
The session takes place in Auditorium B2.03 (Building 2, Floor 2) at 5pm. Admission is free.
