
The latest issue of Ler História Journal (December 2025) is now available online, featuring articles dedicated to the various forms of exercise, representation and contestation of power in Iberian and Ibero-American societies between the 16th and 20th centuries. Among the topics covered are the heretical networks monitored by the Inquisition, censorship during the Salazar era, police action in post-colonial Buenos Aires, the nationalist left in Galicia and the Restoration War in the maritime sphere.
