CEI-Iscte will assume the role of local organiser of the 19th edition of the Pan-European Conference on International Relations, which will take place in Lisbon, on the campus of Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, between 1 and 4 September 2026.
The official announcement was made during the 18th edition of the conference, which took place at the University of Bologna between 25 and 29 August 2025, and which was attended by CEI Board.
The 2026 edition will be coordinated locally by researchers Giulia Daniele and Ana Mónica Fonseca, deputy director and director of CEI-Iscte, respectively. At the international level, the conference will have Elizaveta Gaufman (University of Groningen) and Nizar Messari (Al Akhawayn University) as Programme Chairs.
The Pan-European Conference on International Relations is one of the most important academic gatherings worldwide in the field of International Relations, bringing together hundreds of researchers and experts from various universities and research centres every year.
