Iscte’s Centre for International Studies (CEI-Iscte) was rated Excellent in the evaluation of Research and Development Units (R&D) 2023/2024, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
This result is an important recognition of the work carried out over the last few years in a consistent and rigorous manner, affirming CEI as a national and international reference centre in the field of international studies. The ‘Excellent’ rating reflects the scientific quality, impact and social relevance of the research produced, as well as the centre’s organisational capacity and collaborative dynamics.
It should also be emphasised that the CEI was the highest ranked Research Unit in the Political Science panel, the panel in which it was assessed, which further reinforces the excellence of the work carried out. This recognition was only possible thanks to the commitment, dedication and competence of its research and science management team.
