Encontra-se aberto um concurso para um investigador júnior, detentor do grau de doutor, na área científica de Estudos Internacionais, no âmbito do Projeto e Financiamento Plurianual de Unidades de I&D, financiado pela Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I. P. (FCT) (Ref. UIDP/03122/2020), coordenado pela Doutora Ana Mónica Fonseca, Diretora do CEI-Iscte. O contrato tem a duração prevista de sete meses, entre Junho e Dezembro de 2024, eventualmente renovável, no âmbito do financiamento programático do CEI-Iscte.
Este lugar visa o desenvolvimento de atividades de investigação na área regional Europa e Relações Transatlânticas, com incidência nas temáticas das Relações Internacionais, o papel da União Europeia como ator global, e as relações com outras regiões do globo, as estratégias nacional e europeia ao nível da política de defesa, e os desafios globais que enfrenta, com vista a conceber e realizar projetos de investigação e estudos, participar em redes nacionais e internacionais, publicar e disseminar resultados e análises, tanto no âmbito nacional como internacional, orientar teses e dissertações, e estabelecer parcerias e colaborações institucionais, sobre os temas acima indicados.
O concurso encontra-se aberto entre 24 de abril e 9 de maio de 2024. As candidaturas deverão ser apresentadas em língua portuguesa ou inglesa e submetidas através da plataforma de Recrutamento do Iscte.

A tender for recruitment of one entry-level doctorate-holder position is open at Centre for International Studies – Iscte, for the Pluriannual Funding of R&D Units, funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I. P. (FCT) (Ref. UIDP/03122/2020), coordinated by Dr Ana Mónica Fonseca, director of CEI-Iscte. The contract is scheduled to last seven months, from June to December 2024, possibly renewable, within the scope of the CEI-Iscte’s programmatic funding.
This position seeks to foster the development of scientific research activities in the regional area of Europe and Transatlantic Relations, focusing on the themes of international relations, the role of the European Union as a global actor, and relations with other regions of the world, national and European strategies in terms of defence policy, and the global challenges it faces, with the objective of designing and carrying out research projects and studies, participating in national and international networks, publishing and disseminating results and analyses, both nationally and internationally, supervising theses and dissertations, and establishing partnerships and institutional collaborations, on the abovementioned themes.
The tender is open from 24 April to 9 May 2024 and the applications must be presented in Portuguese or English and submitted at Iscte’s recruitment platform.
