Resumo Biográfico

Ana Elisa Cascão é coordenadora de programas na Transboundary Water Management Unit – Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). Ela é uma cientista política com experiência em Hidropolítica na região Médio Oriente e Norte de África (MENA). Ana Elisa Cascão é doutorada em “Economia Política da gestão de recursos hídricos e alocação na Bacia do Rio Nilo”. Ela tem estado envolvida em diversos projectos académicos e de consultoria na região MENA e no Nilo. Tem publicado nesta área em revistas e jornais académicos. Como coordenadora de programas na SIWI ela tem sido directora, facilitadora e formadora em programas de formação internacionais sobre a gestão da água transfronteiriça para o Médio Oriente, África Oriental e África Austral.
