The Latin America group focuses on political and economic relations with the other continents and on the political dynamics peculiar to the region, from regional integration to the holding of elections in the various countries. Cultural practices, levels of integrity and corruption, violence and illegal markets are other areas in focus, as well as the impact of globalisation on local societies, from urbanisation, the role of port cities, to the emergence of new solidarity economy movements.
