Biographical Information

Eduardo Gargallo has a PhD in Contemporary History (University of Barcelona, 2007). He wrote his thesis about the history of the Department of Agriculture in Zimbabwe. At the Centro de Estudos Internacionais – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (CEI-IUL) he is a post-doctoral researcher, currently carrying out research on land policies and community conservation of natural resources in Namíbia and Mozambique. Previously, he was project director of the Centre d’Estudis Africans in Barcelona, and wrote consultancy reports on cooperation projects in Africa. Among others, he has published in the Journal of Southern African StudiesJournal of Namibian Studies, Politique African and  Journal of Contemporary African Studies.
